MITZIE

Meet Mitzie, a Yorkie mix....maybe Yorkie/Shih Tzu, but it’s really just a guess. This little lady came to us as a stray. Her new surroundings frightened her, and she stayed toward the back of her run. After about a week Mitzie decided we were ‘OK” and she started coming forward to meet people. We must seem like giants to her, she’s so very little. It still takes her a little while to warm up to strangers. It’s anybody’s guess why. She may have come from a very quiet household and this may be the first time she’s away from home. She did come in terribly matted which may give us a clue, but we’ll never really know. Mitzie needs a calmer home, so one without children may suit her best. …..Mitzie’s been given her distemper and bordetella vaccinations, and frontline has been applied to make sure there are no fleas. >>>>>GREAT NEWS!
