Mitzi

We welcome 9 year 9lb blind spayed beautiful miniature poodle girl Mitzi. She was born with micropthalmia, so blind since birth. Does very well getting around once she knows layout of house. Occasionally bumps into things and just redirects. She is not able to do steps. Mitzi is also deaf but can hear foster mom whistle when she needs to get her attention. She recently had 20 infected/abscessed teeth pulled and now has an excellent appetite. She’s a little foodie and loves treats. Mitzi does not walk very well on a leash so we doubt she was ever taken for walks. She has a long 10 ft. tether in her foster yard and likes to just wander around sniffing everywhere, and she is never left outside on her own since shee occasionally does circles and gets herself tangled in the tether. She would love a fenced in yard! Mitzi has no problem with other dogs and is fine with cats. Mitzi sort of lives in her own little world and would do well in a quiet environment.
