UPDATE 4/24/07 Adopted by FOSTER FAMILY> .. In 11-27-04. Mithkah came into this Rescue over 2 years ago with her companion, Benjamin, the Golden Ret. He has since found a home, but Mithkah remains. She is a senior gal, around 10 years old. Although she's a bit overweight, she's not a big dog at all. Really looks like a Elkhound too, when she curls her tail up over her back. It is rumored there is a little Chow and some Shepherd in her background too. Her senior owner was moved to an assisted living facility where she was not allowed to have her dogs. This poor, older dog is now in limbo, waiting for a compasionate person to come along and adopt her so she can live out her golden years being loved and cared for the way her former owner would have done. She is totally housebroke, and very mellow inside. She uses a doggie door and mostly sleeps. She's really a well behaved dog and you wouldn't have any work to do in the training dept. She is healthy.
