ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 35 lbs KNOWN WITH DOGS: Duke loves humans but can be cranky with other dogs. He isn't keen on sharing his food with other dogs. He will be happiest as an only pet. KNOWN WITH CATS: We do not currently know how they are with cats. If that is needed, let us know and we'll work on getting that information! KNOWN WITH KIDS: Duke is a friendly boy and seems to get along well with humans of all ages. KNOWN COMMANDS: Duke has not demonstrated that he knows any tricks yet. KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Duke is housebroken and settles down nicely in his crate. He really loves his dog beds and is fine left unsupervised. KNOWN LIKES: People, affection and treats KNOWN DISLIKES: Other dogs. ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Duke is from a rural area in VA and was living outside his entire life with another beagle named Beau. But we think that he is happiest as the only dog. Despite having likely spent his entire life living outside Duke thinks inside living is fantastic. Duke is 13 years old and 35 lbs. He loves humans and attention, a walk and then a nice nap. His foster says he is very very sweet and a really easy dog. He's a total charmer. Duke is hoping to find a loving home to live out his golden years.
