Meet Miss Shields, our charismatic 6-year-old Lab mix who weighs in at a sturdy 58 lbs. Don't let the number fool you, though—she carries her weight with the sass and agility of a much younger pup. Miss Shields is the quintessential fun-loving, adventure-ready dog who proves that age is just a number. With her sleek black coat and a personality to match, Miss Shields is as confident as they come. She’s always up for a new adventure, whether that’s exploring new trails or playing in the park. Her spunky spirit ensures there's never a dull moment when she's around. And while she might be a tad overweight, she's nothing a few active play sessions can't manage. Miss Shields has an easy-going nature when it comes to her training and social interactions. She’s crate trained and walks beautifully on a leash, with no significant challenges to note. She gets along famously with all dogs, regardless of size or sex, and her interactions with humans are just as pleasant. While currently residing in a kennel environment, Miss Shields dreams of a home where she can let her true colors shine. She has a medium-high energy level that would be perfect for an active family with a big yard, but she's adaptable and can thrive with anyone who matches her enthusiasm for life. We would love for Miss Shields to be adopted alongside her sister, Remie, as they make a fantastic pair and complement each other beautifully. However, we are also open to individual adoption applications for each of them. Miss Shields is a strong independent girl who can make the best of any situation and would thrive in any loving home.
