Miss Penny

Penny is a SUPER SWEET pure bred 5 month old puppy whose parents were also on my site. Draven is her father and he went to a lovely home in Reno, and Navarre aka Goldy is still with the West Coast Giant Breed rescue in Sac. She was just spayed and is doing great! Penny, along with all the others except Draven were essentially neglected but in good health. She was a real scared girl when she first came here for some social skills. She had no name, and had not been taught any manners etc..now she has been living indoors for the first time, and has learned how to sleep in a crate at night, to get into the car and ride well, and walk on a leash, and come to her name. We are daily learning better house manners, and how not to be afraid of people as that was her essential weakness. She came from a very isolated country home where visitors were scarce, and was not handled so was undestandably shy and timid. Now she has blossomed and is the friendliest, happy go lucky girl! She longs for a family to call her own!! She is smart, and reacts to training fairly well and just needs time and patience like ALL puppies do to learn proper manners and skills...she will make an excellent house pet for a loving and responsible family...PLEASE email me so I can forward your interest to the Dane rescue where they will handle the adoption process. She weighed 68 pounds last friday, and will prob reach about 120 when done growing....oh yeah...she LOVES to play in water!!!
