Meet the ever lovely Miss Ethel! Ethel is an approximately 7 year old Greyhound Mix and weighs about 40-45 lbs. Ethel was found as a stray in rural Marshall County at the end of April and was not claimed by an owner. To our surprise, she was already spayed (she has a tiny green tattoo confirming her surgery), but was not microchipped. Ethel is an incredibly sweet and loving gal who would love a quiet life. While most of the other rescue and resident dogs love to romp in the yard, Ethel would much prefer to relax under the covered porch on one of the many available dog beds, or snuggle on the couch. Ethel gets along well with all of the other dogs, but playing with others isn't her favorite past time. She chooses to keep away from the rambunctious puppies while they are working out their zoomies. Ethel has met a few cats while in rescue care and is not interested in them, so she is likely a good candidate for a feline friendly home. Ethel likes children and follows our resident 7 year old around the yard/house as long as she isn't napping. Ethel walks well on leash, rides respectfully in the car in the passenger seat, and is overall just a joy to be around. If you are searching for a laid back and loving lady to join your family, consider meeting Miss Ethel!
