My Story

Miriah is in MA and available for in-person meetings! If interested, please submit an electronic application at https://www.foreverhomerescue.org/about. Miriah is a beautiful 60-pound, 7-year-old hound mix who was rescued out of a Tennessee-based animal shelter. Despite this girl's age, she still loves getting out for long daily walks or running around outside in an enclosed yard with the other dogs in her TN-based foster home. Once she has had her exercise, she likes to cuddle up on the couch with her humans and get lots of pats. Miriah is house, crate and leash trained. She is a bit too interested in cats so is looking for a cat-free home. She's had nice experiences with 8-10 year old children who visit her foster home. If you can give this sweet girl her forever home, please apply today at: https://www.foreverhomerescue.org/about Adoption fee: $500 Adoption coordinator: Hannah Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. If you wish to adopt our dogs, please complete an online APPLICATION. You must first be approved by going through our application and screening process. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Forever Home Rescue makes all of the transportation arrangements. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors. Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up.
