My Story

*This is a courtesy listing.* Meet Miracle! Miracle was found in Tijuana the night of July 4th, walking in the street and bumping into parked cars. The kind person who saw her struggling and took her in, went door to door in the neighborhood asking if anyone recognized the dog and knew who she belonged to. Several people replied, "Who would care about an old blind dog?" Thankfully, Miracle has two kind and generous people who not only care about her, but they are having her medical issues addressed! Next up: finding a forever home where Miracle will be cherished for the rest of her years. Miracle is estimated to be around 12 years old, and in addition to being blind, has limited hearing, and no teeth. At a visit to the veterinarian the day after she was found, Miracle was treated for flea and ticks. After staying overnight for observation, she was cleared to be released. She is scheduled to have surgery to remove a tumor (see photo) that is hanging from her stomach in mid-August. Despite all Miracle has been through, she is very sweet, gentle, and calm. She is learning to walk on a leash, and she only goes potty outside! Miracle is content just to be in the same room with her human. She asks for little but deserves the world! Miracle's guardian angels would love to place her in a loving, calm home where she will be pampered for the rest of her life.
