MINNIE

Minnie is the sweetest, most perfect dog! She is 3yrs old and so calm and lovable. Shes shy at first, but once she feels comfortable in her surroundings she just wants to stay by your side and love you! She is potty trained, knows to lay down, and is non-reactive to dogs (if theyre barking at her, shell just stare!). She has a gentle play style and loves to sniff all around her. She loves walks but does stop to sniff a few times! Shes also kid friendly. She hasnt been around cats, but I assume she would be friendly and non-reactive to them as well based on her demeanor. I have never met a more gentle dog. She had a minor complication with her spay surgery that forced her to wear a cone for a while, but that just showed how gentle and calm she truly is! She took her medicine from my fingers (without needing to cover it in peanut butter!) and helped me put her recovery suit on herself! I dont know another dog that is so calm and sweet! She is heart worm positive but already received treatment and is on the mend. Her only room for improvement is her separation anxiety, so an ideal home would be where you work-from-home or are home more than not. But if thats not possible, she has already improved in this aspect when I go to work and with some patience and training, she will continue to do so! She is currently the only dog in the home but would do well with a brother/sister if they are on the chiller side.
