UPDATE - Mini-Jewel went to her forever home yesterday. She is going to play older sister to Blu, a silver gray Chihuahua who seemed excited with his new friend. Mini-Jewel's life was spared when an APR volunteer found her sitting on death row at a local high-kill facility. Picked up by animal control as a stray, she wore no ID and had no Microchip. She surely must have been someone's lost pet but as her 72 hour stray hold time quickly approached, no one showed up to claim her. APR promptly took over custody of Mini's care and placed her into our adoption program. It didn't take us long to realize what Jem we got in Mini-Jewel! Mini loves people and is completely housebroken, what more could you ask for?
