Milo

Hellooooo . . . . My name is Milo! I am now a very happy, affectionate, sweet and curious little guy. After 3 years with my family, I was taken to the pound as a result of a divorce. The last 6 months of my life with them was tough. I was kept outside and not given any attention. Worse still, a neighbor said that when I was fed, I was beaten by my owner if I tried to get in the house. As a result, I was very afraid of small spaces and needed to learn to trust again. I was lonely, I was sad and I was hurt. I was skinny, dirty and had lots of fleas, but most importantly my heart was broken that my family didn't want me anymore - even if they were cruel to me. I was rescued on what would have been my last day of life from the pound by Marley's Pit Stop. While, I am not a pit bull - I have the kind of spirit and love of life that many of the MPSR dogs have and got a 2nd chance along with my pit bull girlfriend, Dolly. I am about 3 years old and now, in good health. I LOVE to go for walks, cuddle, chase toys and yes, . . . SNIFF & SNACK. I will come when called - even if my nose is engaged, I like other dogs, but prefer to have you all to myself. I am currently living at the training school where I have learned all my basic commands and most importantly to trust again. I adore giving you my belly for a nice rub and will gaze lovingly in to your eyes during our cuddle session. While most Harrier's are known for their howling abilities, I do not have the persistence of most and will quiet down pretty quickly. I like my exercise - because then I can eat more treats without losing my young man's physique. If you are looking for a loving, intelligent, "cute-as-a-button" boy, I am your guy!!
