Millie

Adding to our Border Collie collection is Millie, a gorgeous, shiny, happy and very energetic girl. Almost surrendered to animal control, a friend of the previous owner kept Millie for almost 6 months until he realized she needed more time, attention and exercise than he could provide. Millie had a habit of getting into trouble when bored which included eating her owner's wallet, credit cards, cash and all! On an inaugural walk around the shelter upon arrival, Millie was fascinated by the horses and excited to see other dogs on the property. Estimated to be only about a year old, Millie is all puppy-brain and impulse-driven. She has been very friendly and is ideal for active people and probably kids as well. She has met some other dogs with wild enthusiasm which isn't what every dog is into, so Millie needs a good match for her temperament and energy. A meet-and-greet with an approved applicant and their dog would be required. You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment.
