At first we were sure Millie would be like so many others who end up at the shelter: scared, shut down and unsure BUT as soon as Millie joined us outside her silly side started to emerge!! She was so happy to be out where it was quiet and she showed it! Millie also thinks she is a lap dog! She crawled onto our laps and watched the goings on at the shelter. Maybe you need a lap dog, albeit a bit bigger one that was what we may think of when we refer to a lap dog, however Millie is a lap dog!! Come meet this angel today!

The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.
All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter.
Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after time for decompression for the shelter dog.
