My Story

Millie is one-in-a-million! She is a great little dog. She is like a big dog in a small dog body. She loves dogs and people and is not afraid of new adventures. She would love to be in a family who would take her to the park and on trips with them (although she does get a little car sick from time to time). Also, she is not a barker. No yipping here! She is great on a leash and in the house. Millie is house trained and knows her name. She also loves to cuddle and be with her people. She is a great a bed buddy and would make a good companion dog. She stays right with you. She is alot like a cat, even sitting on the back of the couch! Millie is also a great survivor. She was dropped at the Loudon County Shelter with a dislocated back leg, an old injury that was never properly repaired. The good folks at the Shelter saved Millie because she was so loving and had such a zest for life! However, Millie has had to have her back leg amputated. She gets along great and is already accustomed to life on three legs. It does not slow her down at all and she can still out run some of the bigger dogs! Millie could still use a sponsor or donations to help cover the cost of her amputation. If you would like to sponsor her or donate, you can do so at www.almosthometn.net or by calling Animal Medical Clinic of Loudon at 865-988-PETS. If you would like more information about Millie or would like to meet her, please contact Carissa at 865-640-7284 or [email protected]. I know that if you meet her, you won't be able to forget her! Unless otherwise noted, all Almost Home dogs are healthy, spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm preventative, and flea & tick preventative.

****Puppies and kittens will be fixed when they are 5.5 months old. When they are adopted younger than 5.5 months, they MUST be adopted in East Tennessee.
