Hi, I'm Mila, a 4-year-old Australian Cattle Dog with a zest for life and a heart full of love. I'm a red heeler, which means I'm smart, loyal, and always ready for an adventure. I weigh a fit 35lbs and I'm spayed, with all my vaccinations up to date. I'm proud to say I'm heartworm negative, too! I'm a confident girl when it comes to people – I just love them! My energy levels are moderate, but I'll admit, I can get a bit hyper when I meet new friends; I just can't contain my excitement. I had a couple of seizures about six months ago, but the vet gave me a clean bill of health, and I haven't had any issues since. I'm a bit cautious with other dogs at first, but once I realize they're friendly, I warm up pretty quickly. I used to be a bit defensive around other dogs due to some past experiences of being attacked, but with a gentle giant like my previous boxer buddy, I learned to relax and enjoy canine company. I'm not sure about cats, but I'm willing to be tested to see if we can get along. Kids are great, but I like to take things slow and not be overwhelmed. I'm housebroken, crate trained, and I'm getting the hang of this leash thing. I'm the sweetest thing you'll ever meet and I love my humans fiercely. My current human is active duty military and works long hours, which means I spend a lot of time alone. They're about to be deployed and want to ensure I have a stable, loving home where I can thrive. I am located in Greenbrier, TN but can be transported to other states for the right-fitting family.
