Mikey/Molly

Devoted, loving COUPLE need caring home! Mikey and Molly, ages 4 & 2, are tri-colored purebred Shih Tzu’s and are an affectionate and loyal couple that can’t be separated! Where you see one you see the other; they eat, sleep and play together and are a cuddly, lap-dog pair. They were rescued from a “less than good” situation - they were covered in fleas and very hungry. Even though Mikey was half starved, he backed away from the first 2 plates of food until Molly had enough. Only when she turned away from the third plate did he eat ravenously. The foster family thought this was odd, but soon discovered why – Molly was 10 days away from giving birth to 5 puppies and he was letting her get nutrition that she badly needed. We were deeply touched by his devotion and constant attention to her. They deserve to stay together. They are both now healthy, have had all shots, Mikey has been neutered, and Molly will be spayed on June 2nd. Mikey had a previous problem with one eye and it was removed, but he is doing fine and has vision in his other eye. They are house-trained, love a routine, are good at occupying themselves, love brushing and cuddling time, and are good travelers! Please allow them to share your home and brighten your life!
