My Story

Eight year old Mika is a purebred Siberian Husky who was surrendered to us. The kids in the family got busy with life and didn't have enough time to spend with her like she deserved anymore. She is curious and funny, not super interested in toys, but loves the funny noises they make when you squeak them for her. Mika would do best in a home with a big fenced in yard or a farm. She visited a farm with her previous family and she loved it since she could run around as she pleased. She has wonderful recall and will return when called. This doggy is described as a 'Busy Bee'. I’m a naturally playful, curious, and trusting canine. Take me for a big walk every day; give me something to do. After my job’s done, I’ll curl up in front of the fire with you in the evenings. We recommend crate training until you’re confident that your dog is used to his/her new home: http://www.aspca.org/pet-care/virtual-pet-behaviorist/dog-behavior/weekend-crate-training All our dogs have been spayed or neutered or arrangements will be made if currently too young. They will be treated for fleas, bathed, vaccinated against distemper/parvo, treated against general parasites, and if of age, tested for heart worms and vaccinated against rabies. If underage for these things at the time of adoption, they are to be done at the adopter’s cost when the dog becomes of age. They will be microchipped at the time of adoption.
