WANTED: K-9 best friend and family to go with it! I’m Mika (mee-ka), and I’m in search of a doggie brother or sister and an understanding family to love. I have a personality a little like people think of cats. I can be a little aloof, but I love affection on my own terms. I’m very loving and devoted to my human and my furry friends. I like cats, but I’m definitely a dog who loves other dogs. I’m especially good with the ladies! I love to play all day then fall asleep by their side. I want to share everything, including food bowl, but once in a while I can be possessive of toys. I’m potty trained though it takes me a day or two to get used to a new place. I can go in the kennel, but I need a treat for a bribe. I’m neutered and up to date on shots. I like kids, but no more than 1 on 1 at a time. I’m not aggressive, I run and hide when I’m frightened. My foster man keeps telling me I have to keep working on “socialization.” My breed is a mystery, but I have beautiful brindle coloring and fur that’s thick, but not too long. I was born August 31, 2023 on a farm in Wabaunsee County. My mama was dumped, then whelped my litter on the farm before we all spent months running free.
