Updated: Aug. 9, 2006 I’m the mother who gave birth to my precious 9 little puppies. I love to be outside running around and I enjoy other dogs. I am very well mannered and don’t require much effort to keep. I love to please and am always there to greet you when you come home or wake up. I love staying with my foster parents as they allow me to run around the entire yard all day long and come in to take care of my puppies when they need to be fed. If you like the wiry haired type then I'm your girl! I am a mom with children so you will have to have patience until they are weaned. I have nine babies who are on this site too (Kona, Wiggles, Xena, Boots, Gabrielle, Kea, Pamfur, Pekoe and Ziggy).. We are all searching for our forever home. My pups and I are living in a wonderful foster home. Let me tell you about me - I am a beautiful, loving, devoted mom and a devoted companion. I was picked up by animal control and taken to a shelter when they noticed I was pregnant. I gave birth to my nine darlings the same night they brought me in. No one came searching for me so my time was running out. Yes, they would have euthanized me and my pups but a S.A.F.E. volunteer came to the rescue. She had seen me at the shelter and just couldn't get me out of her mind, I have that effect on people you know! She and another volunteer searched to find me a foster home but the foster home could not take me for several days. Meanwhile my babies and I stayed on the concrete floor of the kennel awaiting a miracle. The volunteers refused to give up and made arrangements for my temporary care and today my babies and I have a new foster home. Hopefully you have it in your heart to give me a home where I can sleep by your side and share all the love in my heart. I know my forever family is out there and will apply for me soon. Until then, I will hang out at my foster home and enjoy the love I receive from my foster parents. You know life sometimes can get you down but I believe there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Please be my light!
