Meet Michelangelo! Michelangelo and his siblings were born on accident, and when the owners couldn't find homes, they reached out to Wags and Whiskers to take in the remaining 4 pups. These pups are super sweet, and learning so much! When these guys came to Wags, they were terrified of new people, didn't know how to walk on leash, and would literally pee themselves when they were picked up. Now, these boys love and crave attention; due to their love of affection, they can be a bit overwhelming to small children, until they master the art of being calm and not jumping up, which they are working on. Once they calm down from the initial excitement of seeing people, they walk wonderfully on leash, and can even be managed, on leash, by a responsible 7yo child. Michelangelo is eager to please, is super food motivated, and still just a pup, so training is that much easier! All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home. Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners.
