Mia

Mia is a 10 month old female that has lived her whole life outside with a horrible case of demodex mange (non-contagious variety)...the best thing her owners did was to owner surrender her to the local Animal Control to be euthanized - she was in horrible shape because they did absolutely nothing to help her get over the mange. Well instead of euthanasia she ended up in a rescue and has made a dramatic recovery!!! And the best thing of all - her owners were slapped with neglect and abuse charges.

Mia is an odd color - she has brindling underneath the black on her sides and legs.....we just thought it was splotchy after her hair started growing back in - but it is the actual color. She is spayed and current on all of her shots. She does have heartworms at such an early age - but it is very mild and she is starting treatment next week. Mia is a work-in progress with the house training - you can tell she was never in the house! she loves the AC and your bed!!!
