Merlin was returned to BHRG after spending 5 1/2 years with his family because he continually escaped from the invisible fence in his yard (bassets are like that). Merlin is around 7 years old and is a handsome, tri-colored hound with lots of freckles on his white areas. He'll need a very secure yard in his forever home. He weighs in at 60 lbs and is housetrained. Merlin enjoys playing with other dogs and enjoys tummy rubs. He prefers to sleep under the covers. He is healthy, neutered, and up-to-date on shots.
