Melvin is a 24 lb, sweet, standard size dachshund who is in need of a home. He's that perfect size; sturdy but small enough to be portable. Although he has been through much in his life, he remains sweet and mellow, so much so that we think he may be a good candidate for a therapy dog. He is a senior, but don't that that deter you, he jumps up into the van like an athlete......seniors make awesome companions!
We are in need of a short term foster for Melvin, as he needs a quiet home with no other dogs and the main foster home certainly does not fit that criteria! If you can give an older dog a home for the summer, please get in touch with us at [email protected]
His foster Mom has said that he will be an absolute blessing to whatever lucky person adopts him....he is currently being fostered in Glastonbury,Ct.
