Melody

Melody is a spunky, huge personality, very loyal girl. She was surrendered into the rescue after she fell off a high platform and broke her leg in two places. She has been in a splint, but she was so active that the splint was not staying on. The family decided they could no longer put the funds into fixing the leg and surrendered her. Originally we thought the leg would have to be amputated. But as we got to know Melody and watched her activity, she uses her leg with no ailments at all! She bounces, digs, runs, jumps, and uses her leg like nothing has ever happened. She is a trooper for sure, but we think it’s safe to say she can keep her little leg :) Melody is a loyal Chihuahua who thinks the world of her human! She will follow you everywhere and wants to be wherever you go! She would do best in a home with no other dogs. She doesn’t necessarily mind them, but she is picky. She definitely does not like larger dogs. Her new family will have to be willing to properly introduce her to another dog. She seems submissive towards older/senior small dogs.
