Meeka von Meura is an incredibly sweet 5-6 month old German Shepherd mix. Meeka came to us with some bumps and scrapes, and the skin on her nose is still in healing mode. She happily greets men, women, or anyone who wants to say hello. She has a very sweet, gentle way about her that's so endearing. She is an easy and polite guest in her foster home, where she has a furry foster brother to play with. Meeka has a request: she would REALLY like to have a forever home with another playful, young dog, as playing with a doggie friend is her favorite thing to do. She is incredibly smart and learned the 'sit' command in a few minutes. She is also doing very well on her potty training as long as she is taken outside in a timely manner. (or has access to the outside.) She hasn't been tested with cats yet, and although we haven't seen her around kids, we believe that with her gentle, friendly and sweet nature, she would do very well with children. She doesn't chew on anything in the house except doggie treats. We think she will be medium in size once fully grown. Meeka sleeps through the night in her crate without a peep. You better hurry and apply for this cutie patootie, we guarantee you will fall in love with her instantly, as we all have.
