Mecca is a lab mix and weighs about 55 lbs. Mecca is up to date on shots ,spayed and micro chipped.She has spent most of her life in a foster home in the south.When FOWA had an opening we knew we wanted to take her in and give her a chance at a better life.She is currently in a foster home with 3 dogs and 2 cats. Mecca would do best in a home alone or with a calmer dog. She is great with cats and will just ignore their presence. She would do best with older children and a family or individual willing to work on building her self-esteem. She loves the company of people but doesn't like to feel overwhelmed so overall, a quieter home would be the best home . Mecca's foster mom is a trainer so she is learning good manners and how to act like a lady. In only a few days she has shown great progress! Mecca would love a family that enjoys long walks as much as she does.She also enjoys running around the fenced in yard. She is not much of a toy player but give her a nice bone and you will totally make her day. Because her foster mom loves her so and wants to do whatever possible to be sure Mecca has a good transition into her new family she has graciously offered a FREE 1 hour training session!
