Meadow and Furrio were abandoned as babies in Selkirk, NY. Many local groups were not willing to handle them because the Maremma breed has a reputation for not being good pets (they are working dogs and need a flock to guard).
We were able to foster them for several months and ultimately found them the ideal home on an Alpaca ranch in Wisconsin.
