McCarty is a sweet four year old male Malamute mix. He was found stranded on a rock/sand bar at McCarty's Cove! A kind person waded out (with wader's on) and rescued him. McCarty is so grateful that someone took the time to help him and that the shelter was here to take him in. He is a affectionate , sweet boy who is a Meet Your Match™ purple 'Couch Potato'! He is very smart knowing many commands like sit, stay, laydown, shake & come. McCarty is well-mannered, calm and excellent walking on a leash. He loves to play outside! He loves to be with people, take it easy and relax! Hey after what he went through, he deserves it!
Update: McCarty has been at the shelter for awhile waiting on a few vet results. He may need minor medical care which requires a low cost (about $10 per month) prescription daily (which he is very well behaved at taking). Please call shelter manager Tracey if you wish to find more information about sweet McCarty.
