Maya

Maya has just entered our foster home system. She is seven months old. Maya loves people and other dogs. She has even been playing with a small cat and has been a very gentle friend. Maya was given up because there was going to be a new baby in the house. They said she was not well trained. In her foster home she seems to be housebroken. She has not chewed on anything. She has played well with the other animals. She does not get on the furniture but would like to be in your lap. She rides well in the car. She knows how the commands sit, down and stay. She seems to like kids so far. She rides well in the car. She has been a wonderful dog. She thinks some cats can be scarey and will run from them. She does show some signs of submissiveness and will cower at certain noises. Maya will be spayed before she is adopted. She is microchipped and up to date on shots. Maya would prefer a fenced in yard but does not plan to be out there away from her people for to long. She would like another dog but not necessary if the family is active and will include her. Due to us being a not for profit rescue group we adopt our fosters within an hours driving distance from the Matthews, NC area. Sorry but we are not able to travel any further distances and we do not ship out animals.
