"May" (aka "Mayberry"/"Mayflower") is a gentle, timid, sweet, loving Golden Retriever Mix with a silly, fun-loving, puppyish personality once she is comfortable with her humans. Smart, clean, with no bad behavior, she is great with other dogs.
Due to trauma at a young age, May needs a person or family who can calmly give her the love and time she needs to feel safe in a new environment.
A physically fenced yard is required. A confident doggie companion in the home is strongly preferred.
