Say hello to Maxwell, a distinguished German Shepherd with a heart as big as his paws! At nearly 7 years old and weighing 55 pounds, Maxwell has traveled a long way from Puerto Rico to find his way to St. Charles. He was surrendered through no fault of his own and is now eagerly awaiting a new chapter in his life. Maxwell is a brilliant and affectionate boy who loves to learn new tricks. He already knows sit and lay down, and he's currently working on perfecting his spin command. His keen mind and eagerness to learn makes him a joy to train and engage with. This sweet boy also enjoys his walks and has excellent leash manners, making outings a delight. Maxwell's gentle nature and loving disposition makes him a wonderful companion, though he would prefer a home with older children who can appreciate his calm and steady demeanor.
