New Arrival!
Hi! I'm Maxwell, and I am a 6-7 year old Golden Retriever mix who was rescued from the euthanasia room at animal control just in the nick of time! I am such a good boy, and I am so happy to be out of that place! I am a great car-riding buddy, love to go for walks, enjoy kids and other dogs, and will do just about anything for a treat! I have made friends with everyone already, and love to lean against you while you pet me and will smile up at you with adoration for just showing me some kindness. I am a good boy who deserves a wonderful home in my golden years. The rescue is still getting to know me, and will post a picture and more information as they learn about me. You are still welcome to fill out an application to adopt me!
Note: I'm being treated for an allergic reaction to flea bites, so I had to have some hair shaved off. It may look a little funny, but boy do I feel better! And my hair will grow back and the allergy can be prevented with simple flea & tick preventative.
