Name: Maxine Breed: Manitoba Designer (mixed breed) DOB: March 2024 Kids: Yes with proper supervision, puppy energy (ex: jumping, nipping while play) Dogs: Yes, has foster sibling Cats: Yes, currently in home with dog savvy cat, Maxine is curious but polite My name is Maxine, I arrived in Ontario from Northern Manitoba in mid-June with my two sisters when we were saved from an impending dog shoot. Which is a sad reality for a lot of Northern dogs but I am lucky to have been rescued and sent here to start my new life! I am a very smart, curious and confident girl who loves everyone I meet. I am currently living with dogs and cats and we are all getting along well. When I’m not wrestling with my foster siblings I love to play ball and/or rope. As much as I love playtime, I think I like nap time just as much. I do really well in my crate and will happily go in at bedtime and can sleep through the night without any accidents! I also stay in the crate when I am going to be left alone so I can be safe as I am still a puppy and could get into trouble if I am left out. I am extremely food motivated which is very helpful while I learn new things such as sit and come, which I think I have mastered. My foster mom says I am ready to find my very own family who will love me as much as I will love them. I will fit in just about anywhere and can’t wait to meet you to show you what a wonderful girl I am! * TAGS is 100% volunteer based.
