Max is a true hidden gem and everyone who meets him falls in love! Max the #1 requested dog for our hiking program: he is easy to walk, wonderful with volunteers, and absolutely adores people. Max does not seem to be a fan of other dogs. He is a handsome older adult but is still very energetic. Max is a major-league chewer in the kennel (toys, blankets, dog houses), but this can be a sign of boredom and anxiety that can occur in kennel environment ... traits that can subside in the context of a patient and loving home (coupled with appropriate supervision). We cannot speak highly enough of this special dog - we think he'll be absolutely terrific in the lucky home that adopts him!
