This sweet guy has been let down by his humans one too many times. First, he was surrendered because he was obese, the owner telling the vet that he wants the dog euthanized and doesn't want to "waste any more money on him". Then just when life was taking a turn for the better, Max and brother Hachi were abandoned at their dog sitter's home. He is friendly with other dogs and loves people. The most gentle treat taker, potty trained, loves baths, great on walks, and an all around perfect angel. He would sleep with the child in the dog sitter's home.
