Max was an owner surrender along with his buddy Sasha. They're both older pugs who still have so much to offer! Max proved that he's still got some spunk when he played with the pups and ran with the best of them during our Saturday "Dog Days" Adoption hours. He had a blast! He's got a very sweet personality and can be pretty independent at times. Overall, Max is one great dog!
Unlike our cats, our dogs do not stay at the shelter full time. They are kept in foster homes, but come in on Saturdays. Arrangements can be made to have specific dogs brought in during the week- just give us a call or email to set up a meeting time.
Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations at the point of adoption, heartworm tested and on preventative seasonally in addition to being spayed or neutered when they are 3-4 months old. To be included in the adoption fee, the sterilization surgery must be completed by our local participating vets. It can be completed elsewhere at the adopter's expense, but IS REQUIRED!
