Max is a wonderful blue/white 2.5 year old Italian Greyhound. He is underweight right now because his sister, whom he lived with, wouldn't let him eat. He is now gaining weight and is a very happy boy. Max also has CDA, which is an illness that makes him lose all his hair that is colored so he is mostly bald with "peach fuzz" over his body. He gets chilled easily because of this and some hair may return once he is on a very good diet for a while.
Max can be a little dominant, but has been doing wonderfully in foster care and just lets the other dogs know when he wants to be left alone.
He loves to ride in the car and settles right down when traveling, he is also very friendly and loves attention as any Italian Greyhound does.
He may always be small, currently only weighing between 8 and 9 lbs, so he needs a home with no children under 5 just so he isn't accidentally injured by being dropped or fallen on by a youngster.
Please consider him as a new member of your household. He is so adorable, he won't be in rescue very long. Contact us for an application if you are interested in him or any other IG in rescue at this time.
If you are interested in this or any other dog being fostered by IGCA Rescue - Colorado, please contact our state Rescue Coordinator (Tracy -
