Max

Max is a 7 month old Labradoodle. He arrived carrying a stuffed toy in his tummy. For the first few days he was here, he threw up large chunks of toy. We didn't know where it came from because he must've eaten it even before he arrived at Outrun! Needless to say, four days after his arrival we had to rush Max into surgery for a foreign body obstruction. He had two areas of concern - one in his stomach and the other in his small intestine. After Max's surgery we had to slowly build up his ability to eat food again. Starting with canned food, he ate tenderly until his insides healed enough to tolerate the pressure created by the food.
