Hi my name is Max! I came to the shelter in March of 2023 as a stray. I was very scared of everyone and of every little sound. The staff have worked really hard to teach me to how to be brave and to not be so nervous. One of my favorite things to do is yard zoomies! Oh boy do I love my walks and chewy treats! I do get the occasional zoomie on my daily walks! I need a kind owner who will be patient with me when I experience new things. I would do well with a daily routine and lots of affection. I seem to prefer female dogs and I do love playing tag with them in the yard. I take a little bit more time to open up to new people but once I get to know you I am an affectionate playful guy! I am heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped.
