As a stray, Mavis' mama had to make do and try to keep them as safe as possible. Unfortunately, the best shelter Shelby (mom) could find to have and care for her babies was under an abandoned trailer, littered with dangerous debris underneath, Fortunately, we were able to get Shelby and her babies to safety with a foster. Mavis and her brother Motley are the last 2 pups looking for a home, and they've been sitting in a foster home for five months now, it's time they find their own home! Could that be with you?! Mavis has been raised around kids, goats, horses and other dogs & cats and loves everyone, although she is a little shy when meeting new people - she's just looking for someone patient that will finish showing him the ropes! All puppies will have typical puppy energy and require a devoted adopter willing to put in the time and effort to train them.
