Mavis arrived to the shelter in April as a stray dog. She had a microchip, but her owner did not reclaim her... her legs were injured from getting stuck in a fence, but a local vet fixed her up, she recovered here, and now she's ready to adopt! She's been through a lot, but the whole time she has been a sweetheart. She loves the staff here, and enjoys when the child volunteers visit her. She loves playing with other dogs here at the shelter, but is having a hard time finding a bestfriend because she goes back-and-forth between wanting to wrestle, then getting annoyed and wanting to relax. She is so silly. Come meet the resilient Mavis!
