Meet Maverick!
Maverick came to AWS from Morgan County Animal Control. He was surrendered to them after his owner could no longer care for him. We pulled him in the hopes of attracting some new eyes!
He is estimated to be about 2 years old and is believed to be a Cattle Dog/Rottweiler mix. He is around 50 pounds.
He is a young and energetic fella that loves to play! The staff has been working with him with acclimating to wearing a leash and walking on one. He is making improvements everyday! Before Morgan County got him, he never had much experience with a leash. We will continue to work on this with him daily.
Maverick needs a home with no kids. He is dog selective so meet and greets are required. It is unknown how he is with cats.
He is fully vaccinated & neutered. He will be microchipped prior to adoption!
