Maudie

Need a foster or adopter for this cutie! Say hello to Maudie! She was rescued from the streets where she was living under a trailer that she used for shelter from the blazing sun in Houston, TX. To say she would not have survived much longer on her own is not an exaggeration (see the before pics). Poor Maudie was suffering with mange, parasites and severe malnutrition. Fast forward several weeks and she is a sparkling princess! Maudie has been in a foster home in Texas for over a month but we would love to bring her to Colorado to find her forever home? Can you foster or adopt her? We are estimating her age at 1 - 2 years and she weighs 25 lbs. While she has certainly gained weight since in resuce she hasn't really changed in stature so we do not think she will get any bigger. Maudie is crate trained and has some experience on leash and would love to accompany you on a daily outing! Maudie does not have accidents in her kennel when her foster mom is gone but she will likely need some guidance as she transitions to a new schedule and routine. Best guess on her breed is Small Terrier / Chihuahua and she might have a sprinkle of Staffordsshire Terrier? This little cutie is crazy for treats, espeically cheese! Maudie is heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated!
