Mattie Girl

Mattie Girl is a beautiful black Belgian Shepherd dog. We can't verify that she is pure breed, but she looks like one. She was adopted from the shelter in Plano four years ago by a couple that hoped to give her a forever home. Times got hard, and they got a divorce. Mattie, a sweet and loving dog, was turned over for adoption. We had kept Mattie many times when her owners traveled, and they brought her to us to find a good home for her. She is a big girl, 95 pounds, with a lush black coat. She loves to walk on lead out here in the country and smell all the new smells and stretch her legs. Our volunteer thinks she is a great dog. Mattie has some dog friends here and is good with other dogs. She is very friendly to adults and children. She hates the heat now that it is hot outside, and should be kept cool in the summer. With all that hair, it is hard to stay outside long. She is housebroken, very well mannered and an ideal family pet. Please come and meet her if she sounds like she would fit into your family. The $125.00 adoption fee helps cover the cost of care including spay/neuter, first set of vaccinations, microchip, and worming. All adult dogs are heartworm tested and are heartworm negative unless otherwise stated.
