Such a sweet boy! Mason was a stray picked up by Animal Control and rescued by CARES when his time was up. Poor boy was a mess when he was picked up. He had infected anal glands, a urinary tract infection, and was in need of a grooming. The Animal Control workers loved him and took care of everything. He is fine and ready for his new home He is about 22# and between 4-6 years old.
Mason is a little afraid of people at first, but he does warm up once he trusts you. If approached too soon, he has been known to snap. He's been through alot and needs a secure, safe place to call home so he can blossom into a happy fellow. He is crate trained, don't know about house training. He gets along with other dogs and cats. We do not recommend him for small children because of his initial fearful behavior. He does want to be loved. Can you provide that love for him?
This dog's adoption fee is $150 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies (if over 4 months old), Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, heartworm tested (if over 7 months old) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if the fee ends in a 5), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
