ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 15 lbs KNOWN WITH DOGS: Marz does well in playgroups at the Homeward Trails Adoption Center. He is not really a hard player and prefers to coexist rather than engage in the rough and tumble. KNOWN WITH CATS: We do not currently know how he are with cats. KNOWN WITH KIDS: Marz does fine with kids but recommended with older kids KNOWN COMMANDS: Sit, stay, sits for leash and food KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: Marz settles nicely in his crate at the center. KNOWN LIKES: Affection and walks KNOWN DISLIKES: Loud noises and fast movements ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Marz is a great companion dog. He loves all of the family members and is a great snuggler when on the couch in the evening. . He definitely loves being around people and is very loyal and protective to those with whom he has bonded. He is very quiet in the house, only barking when people come to the door or return home. He is the best at giving a warm welcome when you come home. He is very excited to see us and shows us with affection and running circles around us. He is crate trained and sleeps through the night. He is housebroken and paper trained. In the world of four-legged friendships, Marz is doing well in his foster home. Although he's not one for rough and tumble play, Marz prefers to coexist peacefully with his canine companions, spreading joy and happiness wherever he goes. While his interactions with cats remain a mystery, Marz's friendly demeanor suggests that he may adapt well to feline friends with proper introductions and guidance. Marz currenlty lives with two kids and does well. However, he is an escape artist so probably a home with really young ones would be a challenge trying to keep from escaping. He would benefit from having a fenced back yard to play in. He is very agile and can jump and climb and run fast. When it comes to housebreaking and crating, Marz is a model of calm and poise, settling nicely in his crate. Whether it's cuddling up for some affection or enjoying the company of his furry friends, Marz finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. Marz loves other dogs in the yard or in the home, however, he tends to get excited or scared when on leash and will bark at them at people...only when on a leash. He gets startled by loud noises and quick movement too. Marz is a lovable and affectionate companion who is sure to steal your heart with his gentle demeanor and sweet personality. With patience and understanding, he's ready to blossom into the perfect furry friend for a lucky family willing to open their hearts to him. If you're seeking a loyal and loving companion to join your home, look no further than Marz - he's waiting to become your steadfast companion for life.
