Marty

My name is Marty. I was born around the 4th of July. My foster people think I am a Shep/Collie mix. I should be a nice size when I get older--maybe 65 lbs or more.

I have just started crate training--and my foster mates and I are doing really well. I have just started obedient training too. It is to early to tell, but it looks like training will come easily to me. We are working on COME and SIT.

I love to be with people. I would follow my new owners to the ends of the earth if they would take me with them. My foster family has been socializing me with all sorts of different people and dogs and cats. And I do really well with all of them. I like children--and I am very gentle.

I am young--so if you would like to adopt me, keep in mind that my training has just begun. I will be a little more work than an older dog--but I know I would be more fun than you could imagine! Just fill out the application by clicking on the link below and we can meet!

Adoption fees:
$250.00: Puppies 6 months and under
$250.00: Dogs under 30 pounds
$175.00: Dogs over 30 pounds, over 6 months
There will be a $50.00 refund with proof of obedience class.

Adoption fee includes: microchipping, spay/neuter, initial vaccinations including rabies if age appropriate, HW testing for adult dogs over 6 months and deworming, HW preventative and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. ARVSS encourages adoptors to visit their own vet as soon as possible after the adoption.
