Name: Martini Best Guess for Breed: Chihuahua mix Best Guess for Age: 4 years as of July 2024 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 13.3 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats but she can be tested. We would be cautious placing Martini in a home with children under 12 years old because young kids can often scare small breed dogs with their level of energy or noise. Children would need to be supervised closely to ensure their interactions with the dog are calm and gentle in nature. We would be happy to discuss this more in depth with any applicant. Currently Living at: Texas shelter; scheduled to arrive in the DC area Saturday August 3 Martini is Looking For: Her forever home! One where she is neither shaken nor stirred! She landed in the shelter through no fault of her own and is oh so eager to once again have her own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. And cuddles. Definitely cuddles. What she wants most of all, though, is to love and be loved, to know where she belongs, to know she's under her own roof every time the sun goes down.
