(And She needs a forever Home!!) If Marshmallow could talk she'd have a lot to tell us. Marshmallow roamed the streets forging for food and human attention. Each day she was continuing to lose weight and as countless humans walked by her or looked through her she still held on to hope one of them would stop. Marshmallow would be stopped. Sadly by a driver who hit her and left her on the side of the road. We don't know how many hours she lay there without intervention but when LMAS reached out about the dog with at least two broken legs? Well. as each one of us looked at her picture and that still hopeful face we felt she was looking deep into our hearts. We said "Yes." Marshmallow would be hospitalized for several days. Having both a front leg and a back leg broken along with other injuries was difficult on this girl. Despite every measure possible Marshmallow's back leg was way too damaged to be saved. Through Grace; Expertise and Compassion of emergency Medical Intervention; life saving surgery and a medical foster family who literally held Marshmallow's paw through her recovery? Well..that lonely road once traveled... that life almost lost...That bad ending didn't happen. And each of you who continue to send love; prayers; show compassion and contribute in the ways you can...YOU are all part of every companion pet saved.? So here's Marshmallow's New Story. ? A beautiful Survivor really wanting her FOREVER HOME and the sooner the more amazing!! So many new chapters to be written Three legs...Hmmm...You wouldn't know it and she doesn't show it! Marshmallow is a ham; she loves to play and interact; does well on a leash...will make zoomies with a bounce in her step!! If there was an Olympic Category for quickest climb up your lamp; "Upside down Cuddler and "Marathon Best Snuggler" - She'd win the Gold!! Marshmallow is 32 pounds; 2-3 Years old; best in an adult home with someone who is home more. Kitties? Not so much ? Meet and Greets can be arranged with dogs.
